Understanding Florida's Expunction Statute
(Fla. Stat. § 943.0585)
Plainly put, Florida's expunction statute (§ 943.0585) only requires agencies such as sheriffs' offices, the FBI, and the Clerk of Courts in the jurisdiction in which an arrest took place to seal records.
